There is no doubt that the main point of contact of McAvoy’s shoulder was Anderson’s head, the question is how many minutes did he deserve in the box and will he get suspended? Personally, I think McAvoy should have received a 5 minute major and a game misconduct. I think player safety will likely get involved and suspend McAvoy. For how many games? My answer: the same number of games as the number of the penalty minutes he received…2 games.

Wouldn’t it be cool to see Anderson return to the game and score the winning goal to push this series to 7. Oh the dramatics!
