The New York Islanders have done it again, another win over the Washington Capitals, giving the Isles a 3-0 lead in the series. Game 3 ended like this…

After the goal all I could think about was how the Nassau Coliseum would sound if the Islanders were playing in their home arena. Man, do I miss being at live sporting events, especially the “Old Barn.” That place really does have a soft spot in my heart.

The series is not over yet…Especially against the Washington Capitals, but it’s safe to say the Islanders are in the driver’s seat to move on to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

At this pace, the sky’s the limit for the New York Islanders…I just wish we were there to experience it in person.
